Tanner Scheppers of the Texas Rangers will be out of action until late July

29-year old righty reliever Tanner Scheppers of the Texas Rangers will be out until late July due to left knee surgery.  Scheppers pitched in 42 games (0 starts) for the Rangers last year and he was 4-1 with a 5.63 ERA and a 1.57 WHIP.  He has now pitched in 165 games (4 starts) in his first four years in the show and he is 11-5 with 2 saves, a 4.17 ERA and a 1.40 WHIP.  This is a bad break for Scheppers.  The Rangers should be OK while Scheppers is out of action, as they have a pretty deep bullpen.
